About us

We're three friends - Robert Voris, Henry Mautner, and Luis Miranda - who have lived in Brooklyn and worked its restaurants and bars for a loooong time. We drank a little and learned a lot (or was it the other way around?) about wine and spirits over the decades, and wanted to bring some of that experience to our own neighborhood.

We specialize in organic wines and craft spirits. We look for bottles that beat the big brands on quality without costing more. Our basic belief is that excellence and luxury are different things. So no matter whether it's a table wine or an aged single malt Scotch, we're always asking, Is This A Good Value? Whether you're looking for a simple sip for the stoop or an anniversary gift, we want you to feel you got more than your money's worth.
